James Cropper Paper & Packaging to Return to Paris Packaging Week

James Cropper Paper & Packaging is set to make a high-profile return to Paris Packaging Week 2026, bringing a curated selection of four branded stock ranges for visitors to experience first-hand on the show floor.

Taking place on 5–6 February at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the event will see James Cropper exhibiting at Stand F62, where attendees will be among the first to receive exclusive Uncoated Colours notebooks. These sample books feature papers from three of the company’s ranges: Kendal Manila, Vanguard, and the recently launched Coloursource™, which is available exclusively through global materials supplier Winter & Company.

Showcasing black, white, and colour excellence

The company will also highlight its expertise in black and white papers through the Sometimes it is Black & White folder. Produced in collaboration with foiling specialist Foilco and platemaker Dreyer Kliche, the hot-foiled folder contains ten statement sheets from the Rydal range.

Featured papers include Rydal Eco White and Rydal Eco Black, made from 100% recycled fibre, offering brighter whites and deeper blacks while reducing environmental impact. The display also includes Rydal Apparel, which incorporates 20% worn denim fibres, providing luxury brands with an alternative, story-rich material for high-end packaging applications.

The Rydal Packaging Collection further demonstrates versatility, offering options made from fully recycled, part-recycled, and fresh fibre materials to meet diverse sustainability and performance requirements.

Sustainability without compromise

Paul Barber, Managing Director of James Cropper Paper & Packaging, emphasised that the company’s presence at Paris Packaging Week underlines the idea that sustainability and aesthetics can go hand in hand.

He noted that luxury, fashion, and beauty brands can explore solutions that combine impactful minimalism, dramatic blacks and whites, and vibrant colour palettes—all without sacrificing environmental responsibility. According to Barber, the versatility of James Cropper’s papers allows brands to achieve virtually any creative vision.

Building on a strong year

The Paris Packaging Week appearance marks the start of what is expected to be another strong year for James Cropper Paper & Packaging. The company enters 2026 following a successful 2025, which included the launch of Coloursource™ through an exclusive partnership with Winter & Company, celebrations of its 180th anniversary, and a restructuring of its senior leadership team.

With an expanded portfolio and strong industry partnerships, James Cropper aims to connect with both new and existing contacts in Paris, reinforcing its position as a leading supplier of premium and sustainable paper solutions for the global packaging market.
