Reproflex3 receives recognition as a Northern Powerhouse Export Champion by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), underscoring its sustained growth and investment in the global flexible packaging sector.

As a UK Export Champion, the company will provide practical guidance to fellow businesses in the Northern Powerhouse region seeking to expand their international footprint. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s objective of boosting the UK economy by advocating for the advantages of international trade.

Andrew Hewitson, group CEO at Reproflex3, expressed, “We are thrilled to be designated as a DBT Northern Powerhouse Export Champion. Prior to our initial international investment – establishing a new plate manufacturing facility and artwork studio in Dubai to cater to the Middle East and Asia Pacific region – we collaborated closely with our International Trade Adviser (ITA) within the DBT, facilitating thorough research and preparation.”

With approximately 400 volunteer Export Champions nationwide, representing diverse SME sectors, the initiative contributes to the Secretary of State’s target of achieving £1 trillion in exports by 2030. These champions, chosen based on their exporting accomplishments, devote their time to encourage and inspire more UK businesses to engage in international trade.
