Smurfit Kappa achieved 12 distinctions at the WorldStar Global Packaging Awards for its sustainable and innovative packaging. Four awards were granted to projects from Portugal and Spain factories: Display NuriAgroLife, T9 e-Scooter Box, and TuPack.

The Display Nuri, developed at the Vila do Conde, Porto factory, won in the 'Point of Sale' category. The design, resembling a canned product, features four shelves accommodating up to 160 units.

AgroLife, awarded in 'Fresh Fruit and Vegetables,' was created in the Totana factory in Murcia. It's a food-safe treatment extending the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. T9 e-Scooter Box, for personal mobility vehicles in eCommerce, won in the 'Transit' category. Produced in Vigo, it efficiently organizes components to minimize shipping costs.

In the 'e-Commerce' category, TuPack, from the Alcalá de Henares, Madrid factory, received recognition. A corrugated cardboard case, designed for online channels, allows shipping two differently-sized bottles securely.

Smurfit Kappa earned three awards in Germany, two in Denmark, and one each in Colombia, the Czech Republic, and Sweden.
