Suzano's 'Green Life · Blue Future' Program: Empowering Young Generations for a Sustainable Future

As Suzano celebrates its centennial year and China and Brazil mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the company is launching a groundbreaking initiative to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability among younger generations in China.

The Program's Mission

Through the 'Green Life · Blue Future' program, Suzano aims to inspire and educate primary and secondary school students in China about the importance of environmental protection and sustainability. The program is a collaborative effort with China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Next Generation Education Foundation, and business partners China Paper Corporation, Baoding Yusen Sanitary Health Supplies, and COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers.

Activities and Initiatives

The program will consist of various activities, including a drawing competition and micro video competition with sustainability themes, as well as nature education summer camps. These activities will target primary and secondary school students in China, empowering them to take action towards a more sustainable future.

Unveiling the Nature Education Kit

During the ceremony, Suzano unveiled a nature education kit developed in collaboration with its partners. This interactive kit features vibrant illustrations and games that teach children about biodiversity, carbon reduction, and environmental protection through play. The kit is designed to make complex concepts more accessible and engaging for young learners.

Inspiring Change through Creativity

Last year's CSR program saw Suzano and its partners launch a drawing competition that engaged over 700 schools and approximately 1.05 million families across more than 60 cities in China. The winning drawings were displayed at various exhibitions, while a select few were printed on special edition tissue boxes.
