ALPLAhana has launched a recyclable mono-material dispenser with a down-lock feature, enhancing recyclability and supporting sustainability in packaging.
ALPLAhana, a joint venture between ALPLA and HANA Innovation, has introduced a groundbreaking mono-material dispenser with a down-lock function, designed for maximum recyclability. Made entirely of polypropylene, this dispenser uses a robust plastic spring, eliminating the need for metal components, which enhances recyclability and simplifies material sourcing. The dispenser is customizable, with options for different closure sizes, finishes, and outputs.
ALPLAhana's innovation is particularly important for brands aiming to reduce environmental impact. The dispenser’s design reduces waste, as fewer components are needed, and it supports the use of post-consumer recycled materials (PCR). With two standard variants offering outputs of 2 and 4 milliliters, it provides flexibility for various liquid products.
Thanks to the down-lock function, the contents remain secure, providing logistical advantages like space-saving storage and reduced shipping requirements. The innovative dispenser will be showcased at Beautyworld Middle East 2024 in Dubai, highlighting ALPLAhana's contribution to a circular economy and sustainable packaging solutions.
Additionally, ALPLAhana offers complete solutions, allowing customers to purchase both bottles and pumps from a single source. This seamless integration helps multinational brands meet their sustainability goals while maintaining high-quality standards. ALPLAhana’s ability to support custom designs further strengthens its market position as a leader in eco-friendly packaging solutions.
ALPLAhana was founded in 2023 in Hwaseong, South Korea, and focuses on developing plastic-based, fully recyclable pump systems. This venture combines ALPLA's packaging expertise with HANA Innovation's knowledge of pump technology, positioning itself as a key player in the push for sustainable packaging globally.
