Konica Minolta and Color-Logic expand metallic label capabilities using the AccurioLabel 400 press with white toner, enabling inline production of up to 924 metallic colors without post-press finishing.
Konica Minolta has expanded its partnership with Color-Logic to enhance metallic and decorative label printing capabilities for converters and commercial printers. The integration leverages the AccurioLabel 400 press with white toner, allowing inline production of metallic labels without post-press foiling or specialist finishing.
Customers can now create metallic labels on silver stocks, generating up to 924 metallic colors including 50 shades of gold by combining white toner with metallic substrates. Color-Logic’s software provides designers with tools to build metallic and decorative effects directly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, complete with a structured metallic color system and visual preview features to ensure brand consistency and reduce waste.
The solution is suited for short-run, versioned, collectible, and limited-edition labels where strong visual impact is critical. By eliminating additional finishing steps, it simplifies production and accelerates time to market.
