Techman Robot is targeting Southeast Asia’s smart manufacturing market with new AI-guided packaging automation and collaborative robot solutions. At ME Assembly & Automation 2026 in Bangkok, the company is presenting technologies focused on smart packaging automation, high-efficiency AI inspection and flexible end-of-line operations for sectors including electronics, automotive components, food and beverage, and consumer electronics.
The showcase reflects a growing regional demand for automation that can be deployed quickly, adapted to changing product formats and operated in environments where labour availability is increasingly constrained. For packaging producers and brand owners, the challenge is no longer only to automate repetitive tasks, but to create systems that can handle product variation, shorter production runs and faster fulfilment expectations.
One of Techman Robot’s main highlights is an AI vision-guided automated cartoning and packing line. The system integrates a collaborative robot, advanced vision guidance and dexterous gripping technology to automate key packaging tasks such as cardboard fetching, positioning, box folding, cartoning and transport. This combination of visual recognition, robotic movement and gripping flexibility is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional mechanical grippers in complex packaging environments.

Palletising remains one of the most common targets for cobot automation because it is repetitive, physically demanding and easy to link with packaging lines.
The Bangkok presentation shows how collaborative robots are moving beyond isolated workstations into more complete packaging and manufacturing workflows.
