WePack, an independent contract packing company, has entered into a strategic partnership with software provider Nulogy to embark on the digital transformation of its contract packing operations.
This significant move is aimed at bolstering WePack’s agility and resilience within the sector, with the announcement taking place at this year’s Packaging Innovations & Empack event. At the event, WePack detailed its plan to implement Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution across its end-to-end workflows.
The digitalization initiative is expected to provide WePack with enhanced visibility and traceability over inventory and materials, ultimately improving forecasting, labor capacity, line efficiency, and quality control.
The implementation of the scheme is scheduled to commence next month, with full deployment at WePack’s East Midlands, UK, production site anticipated to be completed in the second quarter (Q2) of this year.
In addition to this collaboration, Nulogy took the opportunity at Packaging Innovations & Empack to launch its ‘Essential Package,’ specifically designed to cater to the needs of smaller contract packing operations.
