Quadpack has accompanied this new brand in the design and development of a refillable aluminum jar.
Bonjout Beauty was born out of a passion for radiant skin. Its flagship product, Le Balm, is an 8-in-1 solid serum that, with its more than sixty active ingredients, exemplifies clean beauty. This sophisticated bar treatment is housed in a luxurious round container shaped like a 'macaron,' which can be endlessly refilled. The airtight aluminum jar that keeps the formula in perfect condition at all times was custom-designed for the brand by the international beauty packaging manufacturer and supplier, Quadpack.
Bonjout is a new brand from New York that stands out for its minimalist approach to skincare. However, Le Balm is far from a simple product. The company, founded by French pharmacist Dr. Natacha Bonjout, has fifteen years of experience in skincare and a deep respect for nature. In her words: "I founded Bonjout Beauty with the intention of creating essential products in the most sustainable way possible, focusing on the origin of ingredients, adhering to the cleanest criteria in product formulation, and developing my precious refillable packaging."
Bonjout was very mindful of the importance of packaging. Despite being a newly established company, it made sure to allocate budget for a customized solution. Creative director Paola Naugès conceived the striking macaron-shaped case design. With the assistance of Quadpack, the product underwent several revisions until achieving the perfect design.
The luxurious container now perfectly embodies the brand's story, being simple, elegant, and undeniably French. It consists of an outer aluminum shell and an inner PP receptacle compatible with the complex formula it houses. As a water-free product, it was crucial for the packaging to protect it from the elements when not in use, a goal achieved through its airtight design. The finishing touch to this 'quiet luxury' packaging is a matte cream white lacquer, along with the brand's logo in low relief on the lid.
"The packaging is very attractive. Users love to have it on display and carry it with them as an accessory that becomes a part of their lives. They are often surprised that it is refillable, as it integrates seamlessly," comments Dr. Bonjout. "Developing our custom packaging was a magnificent experience.
