Berlin Packaging has announced the acquisition of Alpack (Limited), a family-owned food packaging supplier situated in Dublin, Republic of Ireland (Ireland).
Established in 1988 by Tony Lord, Alpack has been a prominent player in the food packaging industry.
Currently owned and operated by Tony’s son, Peter Lord, the company has carved a niche for itself by supplying an extensive range of food packaging products.
These include glass bottles and jars, twist-off caps, cardboard boxes, and eco-friendly containers.
Strengthening business in Ireland
The strategic move by Berlin Packaging is not just a step to reinforce its presence in Ireland; it also broadens the company’s food packaging offerings.
Sasha Erben, who heads Berlin Packaging’s operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa, emphasised the significance of this acquisition.
According to Erben, this development provides a considerable expansion of packaging options for Berlin Packaging’s customers.
