CCL Industries, a global leader in packaging solutions, has announced its acquisition of Sleever International, a French family-owned company known for its shrink sleeve labels and packaging equipment. The deal, valued at approximately €130 million ($151 million), is set to close by mid-2026, pending worker council consultations in France.

Sleever International, which operates manufacturing facilities across several countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, China, and Brazil, specializes in shrink sleeve labels—a key component in packaging solutions for the beverage, consumer goods, and healthcare industries. Sleever handles the entire sleeve production process, from film extrusion to printing, shaping, and the manufacturing of packaging machinery.

This acquisition strategically strengthens CCL Industries' portfolio, particularly in shrink sleeve label technology. The combined sales of CCL and Sleever are projected to reach $700 million by 2025, enabling CCL to expand its product offerings and geographical reach in the packaging industry.
