GoodMills Bulgaria, part of Austria's GoodMills Group, invests in a new packaging material warehouse, enhancing efficiency and supply chain flexibility.
Mill operator GoodMills Bulgaria, part of Austria's GoodMills Group, has invested nearly 500,000 levs ($277,912/255,645 euro) in a new packaging material warehouse, it said on Monday.
The warehouse, spanning 305 square metres and with a capacity of 298 pallet spots, will streamline work processes and logistics, facilitating faster inventory control and reducing the loss of packaging material, GoodMills Bulgaria said in a press release.
"The implementation of this project allows us to increase our storage capacity and improve the efficiency and flexibility of our supply chain," GoodMills Bulgaria managing director Iliya Velikov said.
Operational since 1986 and located in Sofia, GoodMills Bulgaria is one of the largest mills in the Balkans, comprising three independent milling lines with a total daily capacity of 750 tonnes of grain, its website shows. Additionally, it has a concrete silo for grain with a capacity of 40,000 tonnes, a milled products silo with a capacity of 11,000 tonnes and a 4,000 square metre finished products warehouse.
