Graphic Packaging Holding Company Named One of the 2026 World's Most Ethical Companies®

Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE: GPK), a global leader in sustainable consumer packaging, has been honored for the first time as one of the 2026 World's Most Ethical Companies® by Ethisphere, a global leader in advancing ethical business practices. This recognition underscores the company's commitment to operating with integrity through robust ethics, compliance, and governance programs. Graphic Packaging is one of only two companies recognized in the forestry, paper, and packaging industry this year.

In total, 138 companies across 17 countries and 40 industries have been recognized for their ethical business practices in 2026. This class of honorees includes 19 first-time recipients and six organizations that have been recognized for 20 consecutive years. The honor highlights companies that have consistently raised the bar for business ethics and demonstrate a commitment to embedding ethics into daily decision-making and long-term strategy.

Robbert Rietbroek, President and CEO of Graphic Packaging, expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, “This recognition reflects the high-integrity culture we are building – one that values doing things the right way. Acting ethically strengthens trust with customers, supports operational excellence, and helps us remain a preferred partner. It also creates long-term value through strong execution and growth.”

Erica Salmon Byrne, Ethisphere’s Chief Strategy Officer, congratulated Graphic Packaging for this achievement, noting that organizations with strong ethics, compliance, and governance programs are better positioned for long-term success. “Companies that embrace ethics as a core value are built for better long-term performance,” she said.

The World’s Most Ethical Companies® recognition is grounded in Ethisphere's proprietary Ethics Quotient® assessment, which evaluates more than 240 documented proof points on practices that support robust ethics and compliance, including corporate governance, training, awareness, risk assessment, and environmental impact. These data points undergo extensive qualitative analysis by a panel of experts, ensuring that only companies with the highest standards are honored.

Graphic Packaging’s commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices is reflected not only in this recognition but also in its ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of consumer packaging. The company designs and produces packaging made primarily from renewable or recycled materials and operates a global network of design and manufacturing facilities serving some of the world’s most well-known brands.
