Stora Enso Secures Top Position in Financial Times Diversity Leaders Index
In the recently published Financial Times Diversity Leaders index, Stora Enso emerges as the leading company, securing the top spot among the 850 top-ranked European companies spanning various sectors. The annual rating, a collaborative effort by Financial Times (FT) and Statista, draws on the insights of over 100,000 surveyed employees across the continent.
Katariina Kravi, Head of People and Culture at Stora Enso, acknowledges the significance of this achievement, stating, “This ranking is a testament to and affirmation of our systematic efforts in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).” Emphasizing the company's long-term commitment to promoting DEI, Kravi notes that persistence will remain a cornerstone of their future initiatives, fostering benefits for employees, safety, and overall business success.
Highlighting the multifaceted approach to diversity initiatives, Kravi explains, “Our strategy encompasses diversity workshops and localized team-level follow-ups, coupled with continuous communication on the importance of diversity. The perceptions of diversity serve as a pivotal metric in our employee engagement surveys, underlining that diversity is not confined to human resources alone—it is integral to our management agenda.
