Troika Systems launches EVO and FlexoCAM, expanding digital inspection and measurement tools for anilox, plates and flexographic print quality.
Troika expands flexographic inspection portfolio
Troika Systems is expanding its quality-control portfolio with the launch of EVO and FlexoCAM, two new digital inspection platforms developed for flexographic printers and converters seeking greater control over anilox, plates and print performance.
The systems will be presented at Loupe Americas 2026 and build on Troika’s existing expertise in microscopic analysis, measurement and condition monitoring for flexographic printing components.
EVO targets faster anilox measurement
EVO has been developed as a next-generation anilox measurement system designed to simplify inspection and provide more consistent data on cell volume, geometry and surface condition.
Accurate anilox measurement is critical in flexographic production because even small changes in cell volume can affect ink transfer, colour consistency and coating weight. Regular inspection can therefore help converters identify wear, contamination or damage before it affects print quality.
Digital analysis supports preventive maintenance
By monitoring anilox condition over time, converters can move away from purely reactive maintenance and base cleaning or replacement decisions on measured performance.
This can reduce unnecessary cleaning cycles while helping operators identify gradual deterioration that may otherwise appear only after colour variation or print defects become visible on press.
FlexoCAM broadens visual inspection capabilities
FlexoCAM complements the EVO platform by providing high-resolution imaging and analysis for flexographic components and print samples.
The system is designed to help operators inspect plates, anilox rolls and printed results in greater detail, creating a digital reference that can support troubleshooting, quality assurance and process optimisation.
Inspection data improves repeatability
Flexographic converters increasingly rely on objective measurement rather than visual assessment alone, particularly when producing repeat jobs or managing demanding brand colours.
Digital inspection records can provide a baseline for comparing anilox or plate condition between production runs and help operators determine whether changes in print performance originate from tooling, ink, substrate or machine settings.
Automation raises expectations for process control
As flexographic presses become faster and more automated, quality-control systems are also evolving. Higher production speeds leave less room for manual adjustment and make early identification of process variation increasingly important.
Tools such as EVO and FlexoCAM can support this transition by providing measurable data that can be incorporated into wider maintenance and production workflows.
Converters seek greater visibility across press components
Print quality depends on the interaction between multiple components, including anilox rolls, plates, inks and substrates. Monitoring each element independently can make it easier to isolate the source of production issues.
Troika’s approach is therefore focused on giving converters a clearer picture of component condition before defects translate into waste, downtime or rejected jobs.
Loupe Americas provides launch platform
The company will showcase EVO and FlexoCAM during Loupe Americas 2026, where label and flexible packaging converters are increasingly looking for technologies that combine productivity with stronger process control.
By adding more digital measurement and inspection capabilities, Troika Systems is positioning its latest platforms around the broader industry shift towards data-driven maintenance, repeatable print quality and reduced production waste.
