Bioleader®, a leading manufacturer of biodegradable food packaging in China, has unveiled its upgraded range of paper salad bowls—a sustainable alternative designed for global foodservice brands. The new series features advanced paper-lamination technology for leak resistance, customizable printing, and full recyclability, supporting international efforts to replace single-use plastics.
The company’s R&D team developed the upgraded design using food-grade kraft paper with biodegradable coating, creating a bowl that’s both moisture-proof and microwave-safe. Available in 8oz to 50oz sizes, the bowls are ideal for salad chains, cafés, catering, and takeaway services worldwide.
“Paper bowls used to struggle with oil resistance and deformation,” explains Junso Zhang, Export Sales Manager at Bioleader®. “Our latest generation solves that problem with advanced lamination and tighter pulp density—strong enough for hot dishes yet fully recyclable.”
Bioleader’s production line, located in Xiamen, features automated molding and printing systems capable of producing over 500 million pieces annually. All products are certified under EN13432, FDA, and LFGB standards, ensuring compliance with the world’s leading sustainability and food-contact regulations.
The company’s paper salad bowls also support private labeling and custom branding, enabling global clients to maintain both function and aesthetics in eco packaging.
With major markets in Europe, North America, and the Middle East preparing for stricter 2026 plastic bans, Bioleader®’s innovation arrives at the perfect time. The firm continues to expand its product portfolio—including bagasse clamshells, CPLA cutlery, and PLA cups—to help food brands transition toward a fully compostable future.
