Hamad Port is reinforcing Qatar’s food security infrastructure with a strategic facility designed to combine import handling, storage, processing, packaging and distribution within a single integrated port environment. The project includes a dedicated berth measuring 575 metres in length and 12.5 metres in depth, supported by around 500 metres of quay wall for unloading and cargo-handling operations.

The development has been engineered to receive specialised food cargo vessels and move essential commodities rapidly into processing and distribution channels.
