Mondi has successfully completed a substantial €125m investment in its Kuopio containerboard mill in Finland. This significant upgrade encompasses enhancements to the wood yard, fibre line, evaporation plant, and the paper machine responsible for producing ProVantage Powerflute, a key material used in trays and boxes for fresh fruits and vegetables.

The investment is poised to increase the mill's production capacity by 55,000 tonnes annually. Additionally, it aims to enhance product quality, benefitting customers with superior packaging solutions.
