In a bid to reduce its carbon footprint, Tetra Pak has expanded its range of homogenizers to include eco-friendly options. The company has partnered with Outokumpu Circle Green to offer machines made from stainless steel that has a carbon footprint up to 93% lower than the global industry average.
The Importance of Homogenization
In the food and beverage industry, homogenization is a crucial step in the production process. From milk-based beverages to condiments, homogenization ensures that ingredients are evenly mixed and blended. With Tetra Pak's homogenizers featuring an exhaust system made from stainless steel "Circle Green", the company promises to reduce CO2 emissions between 160 kg and 1370 kg per machine, depending on the model.
