With a recent investment of over €6 million, Walki has established a state-of-the-art production line at its Steinfurt plant in Germany.
A New Era in Sustainable Packaging
The new production line, dubbed "The Bridge," is designed to combine and upgrade the existing extruder line with a line for glue lamination and dispersion coating. This cutting-edge technology enables Walki's customers to achieve the highest functionality on fibre-based materials with a minimum environmental impact. The investment is part of a larger project aimed at expanding Walki's production capabilities in Central Europe.
